Maria Herrera is a Canadian actress, producer, and voice-over artist with an extensive career spanning film, television, and voice work. Maria has built a diverse résumé as a working actor, appearing in both leading and supporting roles across film and television. Her screen credits include Netflix’s The Recruit, the critically acclaimed film Fatherhood starring Kevin Hart, Pet Sematary, Animal Control, and Within These Walls, among many others.

In addition to her on-camera work, Maria is an accomplished voice-over artist, bringing her performance skills to animation, narration, and audio projects. Her work can also be heard on Audible in Abbee Normal Paranormal Investigations.

Maria has continued to expand her career beyond acting, working as a producer and developing a well-rounded understanding of the entertainment industry from both sides of the camera. As an instructor at Vancouver Young Actors School, Maria works with students across multiple age groups, teaching everything from foundational acting and improvisation to on-camera audition technique and scene study.
