Brittney Wilson

Brittney Wilson began acting at the age of six and has built up an impressive list of credits. Starting in commercials, Brittney quickly moved on to the film and television world, landing her first speaking role in Disney’s So Weird at the age of seven. She’s since gone on to land leading roles in several television series,
including E4/Hulu’s Gap Year, Discovery Kid’s Dinosapien, Nickelodeon’s Romeo!, and recurring roles on shows such as A&E’s Bates Motel, the CW’s Life Unexpected and DirecTV’s Rogue, to name a few. In addition to her series credits, she’s appeared in 30+ feature films and movies of the week and also has an impressive voiceover resumé. With 25 years of working in film as an actress under her belt, Brittney has successfully begun to expand her career as a director, writer and producer and is an important partner at Beyond Boundary Productions.

The most integral part of the intensive that I've been left with is a sense of community. Sometimes the world of film and television can seem intimidating, but with a good arsenal of friends, mentors and colleagues, I feel empowered, and enthusiastic. At VAS, my community supported me everyday, and acted as though my future success as an actress was an absolute. We learned from one another, and grew, and I feel stronger, and confident as a result. The land of Film and TV doesn't seem so intimidating anymore, because not only has the intensive instilled me with a great foundation of skills to keep me grounded, it's also given me a great community of people to help support me in my continuing journey...
